Logs
Logs show every email your workspace sent, newest first, with its delivery status as events arrive from Amazon SES.

Search and filter
- Search matches the recipient, sender or subject.
- Status: sent, delivered, bounced, complaint, opened or clicked.
- Date range: last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or all time.
Search looks through the 500 most recent matching emails; narrow the date range to look further back. Retention is 30 days on Free and Pro and 90 days on Scale.
Timeline
Open a row to see what happened, in order: sent, delivered, opened, clicked (with the link), bounced (with the reason) or marked as spam. Emails sent before event history was added show their latest status only.
Opens are a hint, clicks are proof
An open is recorded when the recipient's mail app loads a tiny tracking image. That is not always a person:
- Security scanners and mail servers often load the image seconds after delivery. Flinkk Mail ignores opens that arrive within 10 seconds of delivery or come from known scanner user agents.
- Apple Mail Privacy Protection and some other clients load images in advance, so an email can show as opened when nobody read it.
- Recipients who block images are never counted as opens.
Use opens as a rough signal. A click on a link is a much stronger sign that a person read the email, although some scanners follow links too. Don't use opens to trigger anything important, such as billing or access.
